About The Role:

The Managing Director of Supply Chain Advisory at CBRE for the Americas will lead and enhance CBRE's Supply Chain and Logistics Services. This role focuses on identifying, leading and supporting strategic client pursuits, leading business case rationalization, network analysis, solution development, and delivering exceptional client outcomes. Key responsibilities include business development, supporting solution design, training, marketing, and thought leadership.

This role will directly report to the President of CBRE Industrial and Logistics with a dotted line to the CBRE Americas Consulting line of business.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead or support pursuits with tailored strategies to client needs, particularly around supply chain expertise, including participating in presentations, client meetings, preparing proposals etc
  • Develop and publish thought leadership content, including white papers and articles on supply chain and logistics trends.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, and speaking engagements to promote CBRE's expertise and services.
  • Train and educate internal staff on basic supply chain and logistics concepts to enhance client engagement capabilities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with a broad network of supply chain consultants, real estate brokers, labor consultants, systems integrators, 3PLs, material handling equipment vendors, robotics and warehouse automation vendors, software vendors, transportation carriers, and supply chain data vendors.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree required with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Master's degree (MA, MS, or MBA) preferred.
  • Proven track record of selling, delivering, and leading supply chain projects.
  • Solid understanding of the supply chain real estate ecosystem.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to set, manage, and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Knowledge of data manipulation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, MS Access, Excel) and supply chain analytic tools (e.g., (Coupa/Supply Chain Guru, Blue Yonder, Logility).
  • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
