About the role
As a CBRE Maintenance Supervisor, you will guide the team responsible for maintaining buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What you'll do
- Set the team goals for performance and deadlines. Ensure compliance with the company's plans and vision. Monitor employee efficiency and provide constructive feedback and mentor.
- Work with area owners to arrange downtime and schedule work within the team.
- Communicate important information from upper management to employees.
- Maintain timekeeping and personnel records. Review and approve timecards.
- Verify adherence to legal and company policies and procedures. Complete disciplinary actions if the need emerges.
- Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
- May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives.
- Coordinate and lead all aspects of vendors onsite to deliver quality work, safely. Increases schedule adherence and takes action to improve internal maintenance processes.
- Tracks Key Performance Indicators associated with the maintenance team and provides the Facility Manager routine updates.
- Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures.
What you'll need
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience or GED or equivalent experience with 5+ years of job-related experience.
- Prior supervisory experience is essential.
- Attention to detail
- Prior knowledge of a CMMS
- Experience with SAP helpful.
- In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
- Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
