About The Role:
As an Assistant Manager you are responsible for the development and direct supervision of a team within the Loan Services Insurance Department. You will be working with multiple lender's requirements across multiple commercial asset classes to assist your team in maintaining compliance. You are responsible for assisting with hiring, training and evaluating your team's performance, with a high emphasis on developmental growth of your analysts.
What You'll Do:
- Plan and schedule yours and team's workload to meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual benchmarks.
- Identify and develop growth areas for individual analysts and facilitate the necessary coaching/mentoring.
- Utilize CBRE proprietary client and data systems to run reports for you and your team to identify areas needing quality control and establishing consistency.
- Conduct analysis of Commercial Insurance to ensure compliance with Lender requirements.
- Communicate and provide support in assessing risk between Lender and Borrower needs.
- Review Loan Closing Documents for insurance compliance at loan level.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and administering competency and performance reviews for your team as needed.
- Participate in audits, certifications, lender conference calls or visits, leadership teams and annual conferences as needed.

What You'll Need:

- At minimum a Bachelor's Degree with 2 - 4 years leadership and supervisory experience or a demonstrated ability to lead staff.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
- Ability to work in a high volume/high pressure/compliance intense environment.
- Excellent organizational skills; work efficiently and capable of handling and prioritizing numerous assignments and timelines simultaneously.
- Clear knowledge and experience with Commercial Insurance Coverage for Property, (including Flood, Wind, Earthquake and Terrorism), General Liability (including Workers Comp and Auto), Professional Liability and Umbrella/Excess Liability Insurance along with policy performance and associated risks.
- Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
