About the role!
Under general supervision, will be responsible for glass washing, autoclaving, bioreactor builds, bioreactor breakdowns, and general lab maintenance.
What you'll do
- Disassembles, inspects, cleans, builds, calibrates, tests, and performs periodic maintenance of specialty equipment, systems, and controls.
- Reinstalls, tests, evaluates, calibrates, and maintains instruments or devices upon completion of repairs.
- Raise instrument performance concerns or breakdown support for resolution to higher-level staff or specialty vendors.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and related experience and/or training. Associate's degree in scientific field of study preferred or equivalent related work experience.
One to Two years of experience in instrumentation and control or installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing equipment or equivalent experience in a regulated laboratory environment is strongly preferred. Experience in a lab setting.
Knowledge in Maximo system is highly desirable
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
- Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
- Experience with Desktop publishing, Microsoft Office Suite, and Online Help.
- Ability to read and work from established SOP's
- Ability to work both independently and within a group setting.
