This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. No biowaste handling will be required.

What You'll Do:

  • Consumables management
  • Glassware/autoclave operation and maintenance. Scheduling of service, if needed.
  • Management of annual pipette and balance calibrations
  • Training compliance
  • Maintain upkeep of stockroom and other storage areas.
  • Lab sustainability program
  • Manage Clean room/above standard GxP cleaning services support
  • Biosafety cabinet and fume hood maintenance/certification (training will be provided)
  • Manage Above standard GxP pest control support
  • Freezer & refrigeration annual maintenance and basic on site repairs
  • Freezer room and cold room sample management and alarm response
  • Analytical instrument support, Metrology, Calibration and Thermal solutions
  • Asset management and/or shared equipment coordination and maintenance support (e.g., centrifuges and other lab assets)
  • Laboratory gases: ordering, movement and operational deployment around the various laboratories

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Skillset in servicing & maintaining thermal products such as freezers, refrigerators, glasswashers and autoclaves
  • Experience in thermal calibrations, maintenance and repairs.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
