About the Role:
As CBRE Information & Communications Technology Service Delivery Technician, you will provide on-site support for the ICT and Engineering services within the Data Center environment.
This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.
What You'll Do:
- Receive, review, and complete IT equipment installation, relocation and decommission requests within timeframes and to industry standards.
- Provide problem-solving support. This includes server reboots, backups, visual inspections, etc.
- Escort third-party engineers and ensure their compliance with the site standards.
- Receive, respond, and assign break and fix tickets within the agreed timeframe or escalate if they cannot be resolved.
- Ensure that on-site documentation including work-related standard operating procedures are created, reviewed & updated whenever there is an instruction or process change.
- Receive, assess, and complete patching and de-patching requests.
- Develop a good working relationship with all members of staff and client representatives.
- Provision and fault diagnosis and rectification of network channel connectivity, installation, relocation & decommissioning of IT equipment, and general engineering maintenance & housekeeping of the critical services.
- Ensure a safe and healthy working environment while maintaining a professional image.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.
- Impact through clearly defined duties, and methods and tasks are described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures / processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:
- Training in a Technical discipline having served an apprenticeship or equivalent with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Must meet the physical requirements of this role.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
