About The Role:

As a CBRE Investor Relations Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with our investors, providing transparent and timely communication regarding investment performance and opportunities, and supporting the overall growth and success of the company's endeavors.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and nurture relationships with investors. Act as a trusted advisor to investors, addressing inquiries, providing guidance, and facilitating discussions on current investments and future investment opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze financial and industry trends to keep the company and investors informed about relevant developments.
  • Build/maintain comprehensive financial models, including a deep-dive of sell-side models to analyze financial statements and identify trends.
  • Work closely with the IR team and serve as point of contact for investors, providing timely and accurate information regarding investment strategies, performance updates, and market insights. Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance investor engagement and satisfaction.
  • Assist in the organization of investor meetings, conference calls, and presentations, including annual meetings, webinars, quarterly updates, and special events. Prepare presentation materials, agendas, and talking points to effectively communicate investment performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Gather feedback from investors to assess satisfaction levels, identify areas for improvement, and address concerns. Prepare regular reports and analyses on investor relations activities, investment performance, and investor sentiment for senior management.
  • Proactively engage with investors through personalized communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings. Address investor inquiries and provide updates on investment activities.
  • Develop materials and resources to help investors understand investment strategies, financial performance metrics, and tax implications through various mediums including webinars, presentations, and general reporting.

What You'll Need:

To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily.   • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field required with 3 years of relevant experience with a focus on real estate or private equity investments preferred.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, including 3-statement modeling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with investors and build trust-based relationships.
  • Strong understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements governing investor relations and tax reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.

New York City Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Investor Relations Analyst position is $85,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $100,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
