About the Role:
This role is responsible for the development and management of HSE programs on a dedicated client account.
Programs may include, but are not limited to, environmental compliance reporting, emergency management, fire & life safety program management.
The role will involve the development, implementation, monitoring and continual improvements of programs delivered both internally to CBRE team members and externally to the Client.
What You'll Do:
- First and foremost, you're an engaged team member on a collaborative team, committed to supporting compliance and HSE programs for the good of the account, our client and our fellow team members
- Develop, launch and manage HSE programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and HSE needs of a client account, including environmental compliance reporting (EPCRA, SPCC, etc.) and internal client compliance reports
- Provide ad hoc, rapid HSE support to our peer teams in service of a client account
- Evaluate new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes and improvement.
- Promote a positive and proactive culture to influence stakeholders, and to ensure compliance.
- Provide strategic advice to the Client and Senior Leadership on issues relating to HSE and associated account programs.
- Oversee HSE plans, playbooks, and business processes and procedures for the account. Ensures information is current, complete and effectively implemented.
- Monitor HSE (Health and Safety, and Environmental) regulatory compliance within the account and assigned area of responsibility. Communicates all findings, concerns, and deficiencies to the responsible managers to effect timely and necessary corrections.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic solutions that will support management's efforts to improve and maintain compliance as required.
- Analyze and utilize a budget used for HSE compliance programs
- Assist in identifying opportunities to reduce costs while enhancing quality of services for a client/account.
- Promote safety consciousness among employees by providing accurate and informative subject matter expertise and by visibly supporting the safety program(s).
- Acts as a resource to staff and employees as an HSE subject matter expert.
- Develop and provide HSE training to team members across the account
- Conduct internal compliance and conformance-based health, safety, security and environmental audits and assist in the ongoing management and closure of findings.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university in an environmental, health and/or safety program or equivalent. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, federal and state health and safety, and environmental regulations is essential.
- The successful candidate must be partnership driven and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Conscientious and thoughtful communication sills that can frame sensitive topics with diplomacy and tact and the ability to effectively and diplomatically respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisors, and/or management.
- Strong written communicator which includes the development of targeted critical messaging that is easily understood by a range of professional backgrounds and includes writing professional reports, business processes and briefing notes,
- Engaging and effective presentation skills on general HSE topics and ability to deliver messages to large and small audiences in creative and accessible formats to a range of professional backgrounds
- Leadership skills that motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the HSE Manager position is $92,500 annually and the maximum salary for the HSE Manager position is $172,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
