About the role
As a CBRE Global PJM Partner Excellence Program Director, you will assist the management of teams who are responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of projects and programs.

This job is part of the Program Management function. They are in charge of the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major company initiatives.

  • Hybrid to the local CBRE office multiple times per week. Occasional travel domestically and internationally.

What you'll do

  • Support the development of the PjM preferred supply chain primarily working with general contractors and on occasion M&E contractors and OEM's
  • Increase compliance to preferred supplier contracts through activities such as analysis of spend, rationalization of suppliers, promoting benefits of preferred suppliers and influencing Project Managers on supplier choice.
  • Support the identification of the right Supply Chain strategy along with PjM leadership - understand customer, strategy and objectives, supervise and assist in opportunity identification and partnerships to drive margin and quality
  • Develop contractual arrangements with suppliers that are recognized for delivering the greatest value, including high quality service delivery to CBRE and its customers.
  • Work with preferred suppliers to deliver the best value, cost savings and service level improvements, achieving high quality and standardization.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and partner concern points for any staffing, bandwidth, or delivery issues.
  • Provide support in assigning resources to a specific project or program Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
  • Train staff and assist with the improvement of processes and services to support client requests and needs.
  • Report the status of individuals and groups of projects and programs to Sr. Management.
  • Lead all aspects of cross-functional projects and programs from end to end. Initiate development of a program charter and integrated timeline. Ensure all functions remain on schedule, issues get resolved, and the program is completed optimally.
  • Manage internal, external and vendor relationships in support of the program.
  • Apply a robust knowledge of multiple teams, the business, and key drivers which impact departmental and cross-functional performance.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Persuade managers and other colleagues to act while being guided by the organization's functional business plans. Negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers of divergent interests to reach a common goal.
  • Identify and solve multifaceted, complex, operational, and organizational problems demonstrating the appropriate resources within or outside the department.
  • Significantly improves and changes existing methods, processes, and standards within job field.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Customer focused, with excellent influencing, communication skills, and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work with and influence a broad range and level of stakeholders and supplier staff.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is helpful.
  • Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mentality.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Global PJM Partner Excellence Program Director position is $185,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Excellence Program Director position is $215,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
