About the Role:

Join our dynamic Corporate Controllership team, supporting financial accounting, planning, and analysis for a $30Bn revenue company with over 130,000 employees in 60 countries. This role offers the opportunity to interact with senior business and finance leaders globally, using tools like PeopleSoft, TM1, OneStream, Savant, and PowerBI. You'll prepare presentations for management, work with large data sets to create dashboards, and contribute to strategic financial initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Support accounting, analysis, and reporting activities for the Corporate Controllership team.
  • Assist in the monthly close process, coordinating with Segment Accounting Teams, Business Finance, and Shared Services.
  • Conduct moderate to complex reconciliations, analysis with research to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Contribute to key accounting projects and deliverables, ensuring reporting accuracy and meeting departmental deadlines.
  • Prepare key internal financial reports and partner with Business Finance (Financial Planning) to explain variances.
  • Prepare presentations for management and work with large data sets to create dashboards.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
  • Analyze records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses.
  • Assist in preparation of special studies, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecasts.
  • Prepare reports analyzing specific aspects of department structures, functions and operational procedures and recommends ways to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness.

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with compensation, stock plans, payroll, benefits, is a plus.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
