About the Role:

As a CBRE Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting the Global Advisory Finance team with supporting budgeting, forecasting, and month end/quarter end processes for Advisory corporate functions (Digital & Technology, Marketing, Research, People, Legal, and Communications.

This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What You'll Do:

  • Support bottom-up and top-down operating budget and forecast development for Advisory Corporate Functions.
  • Act as a business partner to the functional leaders and provide necessary financial analysis for Americas.
  • Consolidate corporate functions globally and provide transparency into cost structure.
  • Analyze trends/variances and identify business drivers behind the numbers for executive summaries and analytics.
  • Facilitate various automation projects to help drive efficiency in financial reporting. Help reduce redundancy by working with Advisory finance globally and Automation and Reporting Center of Excellence to minimize manual work.
  • Coordinate with Reporting Center of Excellence to create dashboards to standardize reporting including industry specific data to drive additional insight and transparency into business trends.
  • Use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practice experience in applying them.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the FA position is $75,000 per year and the maximum salary for the FA position is $90,000 per year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
