About The Role:

As a CBRE Debt Advisory & Structured Finance Analyst, you will have the opportunity to be involved at every stage of a middle market real estate transaction.

The role requires the ability to work in a team environment, evidencing effective communication skills and having a solid understanding of financial modeling. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a busy workload and have excellent written and presentation skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist producer(s) in day-to-day responsibilities which include, due diligence review, loan packaging, lender negotiation, commitment process and closing process.
  • Examine financial statements, produce financial models, and conduct market research to create summaries and loan submission packages for review.
  • Prepare financial models providing detailed financial analysis across all sectors of the real estate market including both development and investment assets.
  • Connect with lenders and maintain the lender database. Study, forecast, investigate trends in the commercial mortgage finance industry.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; Course work or commensurate experience with fundamentals of real estate finance, basic appraisal principals, market analysis and accounting.
  • Clear and concise communication skills both verbally and in writing to optimally present information.
  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to conduct financial analysis and solve problems.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret rent rolls, underwriting, leases, and other financial material.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and thorough attention to details.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work and meet project deadlines in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to work independently with a team player attitude.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
