About the role:

Management and leadership role in area office supporting the wider project related needs of the company. The Commissioning Operations Manager will be based out of the Dallas, TX office. The individual will perform commissioning duties and lead / mentor a team of commissioning agents.

What you'll do:

  • Provide commissioning and / or oversight of commissioning projects and commissioning agents. Directs and coordinates the commissioning process from concept design through functional testing of systems to post occupancy verification.
  • Participate in business development proposals and interviews with prospective customers.
  • Write commissioning section of contract documents and/or reviews work produced by others.
  • Perform project design review during the design process; identifies discrepancies and monitors action plans.
  • Recommend approval to client and documents work performed by the design team, contractors and commissioning agents.
  • Has authority and responsibility for all QA/QC of commissioning services projects.
  • Project director for large projects. Develops staffing plan and fee schedules for service proposals
  • Oversees delivery method of services; provides QA/QC review of all client deliverable reports.
  • Oversight and management of project staff, and services.
  • Manage the professional development and growth for all Cx staff.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant building science, or equivalent, plus appropriate continuing education or 15 years commissioning experience.; or 20+ years construction trade experience.

CERTIFICATES and / or LICENSES

Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) or equivalent, LEED AP, BCA CCP, CxA, Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent
