About The Role:

As a CBRE CAD Manager, you will oversee the updating of CAD drawings and managing various facility asset types. This role requires effective communication and collaboration as you will act as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met efficiently.

This job is part of the Design function. They are responsible for preparing and producing proposals and planning applications for internal and external partners.

What You'll Do:

  • Update CAD drawings for electrical layouts, floor plans, and pest control.
  • Coordinate with the project team to identify and scope facilities-related projects.
  • Collaborate with the PD group for FM support during project implementation, including planning outages and equipment shutdowns.
  • Plan outages and turnaround periods for scheduled maintenance.
  • Communicate with building stakeholders regarding FM activities that impact business operations.
  • Update asset management systems, including VFA/FCA, ESSP, and Maximo.
  • Review facilities aspects of asset commissioning, qualification, and validation.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of critical, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and balance problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
