About the role
The Associate Project Manager for Small Projects and Move, Add, & Changes will provide administrative support to operations, administration, and Project Management Office (PMO) for commercial real estate workplace projects nationally. This will include managing smaller projects while acting as Moves Manager for our technology client account in McLean, VA.
This job is part of the Workplace Services & Operations Project Management Office (PMO) function responsible for the management of small/extra works projects from initiation through completion, move management, and general support of the PMO and Workplace Services & Operations Teams. Role is hybrid with up to 20% day travel to local DMV corporate office facilities within 90 minutes.

What you'll do
Manage all facets of small/minor/extra works project management (pricing, schedule, procurement, execution coordination and administrative close out) for individual commercial real estate workplace projects.
Implement project documentation aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project and move/add/change data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely, and coordinated.
Track the progress of each project and MAC effort against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines. Reports status and variances. Crafts action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
Manage smaller projects as assigned. May lead third-party project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team) and be responsible for tracking performance and motivating team members.
Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and address routine problems.
Have a broad understanding and knowledge of your field and some knowledge of several job subject areas within the function.

What you'll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. Instead of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) Working understanding in MS Project is helpful.
- Experience in workplace commercial real estate moves, adds, and changes necessary
- Ability to read and understand architectural and furniture drawings.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mentality.
