Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Director, HR Business Partner - Digital Technology & Data will be the primary business partner for the respective group or functional leader and leadership team and will partner with senior management within a group or function. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and driving the people and culture strategy as well as providing advice and guidance in relation to more complex people issues for the group or function supported. You will collaborate with senior leaders and the HR centers of expertise to deliver against core people levers and strategies, including culture, organizational design, leadership development, strategic workforce planning, talent management, team and organization effectiveness and change management. Additionally, this role has the added responsibility of being the lead onsite HR partner in Cargill's newest hub located in Atlanta, Georgia.
Key Accountabilities
- Build strategic partnerships with leadership on business issues to develop and enable the people and culture strategy in order to deliver against business objectives.
- Actively participate on the leadership team to develop and handle the execution of people and culture strategies to ensure business objectives are achieved and coach and influence senior leaders.
- Lead efforts to evaluate operating models, talent and capabilities, recommend, design, develop and implement organizational solutions to maximize effectiveness and deliver business objectives, including resource and succession planning, talent assessment, organization design and other strategies.
- Actively champion diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, in partnership with business leaders, employees and center of expertise to guide and drive success of related initiatives.
- Leverage data, analytics and external insights to coach and influence senior leaders on leader effectiveness and organizational health and other topics to drive current and future business performance, monitor and track key people and culture metrics and take appropriate actions to improve outcomes.
- Lead the execution of core people processes throughout the year, such as goal setting, talent reviews, compensation planning, mid year and year end performance discussions, engagement survey and action planning and forecasting resource needs, in partnership with finance team accordingly.
- Participate as an active member of the human resources community, building relationships across the team and supporting other initiatives and projects while identifying and sharing strategies and solutions.
- Provide expert consultative guidance for initiating strategic long-range goals and objectives. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.
- You will be connected to the pulse of the Atlanta DT&D team, make critical connections between Atlanta employees and HR partners/available resources, play an active role in hiring efforts and act as point of contact for local employee relations issues that may arise.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Strong business and financial acumen with proven ability to understand the business vision, strategy, priorities, financial and performance measures and cycle
- Confirmed ability to partner with business leaders to successfully drive the agenda, large scale change initiatives, use data and analytics and influence to gain their commitment and support
- Demonstrated functional expertise across multiple areas, including organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management, change management, compensation and strategic workforce planning
- Minimum of eight years of HR Business Partner (or equivalent/relevant) experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Digital Technology and Data teams, proficient in Technology industry
- Professional certification in Human Resources
- Strong combination of relationship, influencing, strategic, technical and execution skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with flexibility and demonstrated organization skills
- Demonstrated consultative and collaborative approach with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of leading teams on broad change initiatives
- Outstanding executive communication and presentation skills and confirmed ability to conceptualize, lead, implement and monitor programs and initiatives in the context of broader business and organizational objectives
- Experience working in a large, global, matrixed environment
