Sr. Risk Manager, Future of Assessments

Risk Assessments has quickly become a top focal area for our company and the financial services industry overall. The skills and experience obtained in this area are some of the most sought after in the market today. The Enterprise Risk Assessment team is focused on developing risk management strategies, processes and tools to ensure our company effectively manages the business objectives and satisfies the regulatory requirements.
Successful Senior Risk Managers on this team combine risk management expertise, process and project management skills with analytical thinking skills.They are excellent communicators, influencers and strategic thinkers. As liaisons between ERM and first and second line partners, these leaders are also highly collaborative with superior judgment and problem solving abilities. Whether advising senior executives or supporting day-to-day work, they are strong team players, quick to adapt and always up for a challenge.
A successful candidate will:
- Evaluate and evolve current state capabilities regarding one or more risk assessment methods using industry best practices and lessons learned
- Effectively work across multiple organizations with varying levels of stakeholders
- Lead analysis on risk information to gain risk insights
- Consult on initiatives, business objectives, processes, risk events, controls and/or monitoring
- Develop tools, templates, presentations to support changes to risk methods
- Manage projects and lead workstreams that support project and/or team objectives
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 4 years of experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit or Finance
- At least 4 years of experience in Project Management, Process Management or Change Management
- At least 4 years of experience working with internal business customers
- At least 3 years of experience performing business analysis using either Excel or Tableau
- At least 1 year of experience creating and maintaining information in Google Suite Products such as Google Slides and Google Sheets
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Accounting or Economics
- 5+ years of experience in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance or Assurance within the financial industry
- 4+ years in Client Consulting
- 5+ years of Project Management experience leading cross functional programs in Risk
- 5+ years of experience performing business analysis using tools like Excel or Tableau
- Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
