General Responsibilities:
As a Sr. Director, Program Operations Lead, you'll establish and lead the central tower for ITE operations (command center) for our global talent expansion program. This will include maturing the operating structure of the team in support of the entire Tech organization. You will apply ruthless process rigor to ensure we are well managed in how we operate. Operational excellence in program and project management is the key to success in this transformational program driving innovation in how we invest in talent, optimizing operational efficiencies and fueling Capital One's future.
Obsessing over the program experience and operating efficiencies should be in your DNA, along with a visionary operations mindset, and exceptional well managed judgment. You will provide critical leverage in overseeing key processes to ensure delivery, and effective communication across stakeholders. You will chart the course for scaling these processes and functions and need to possess a strong intellect, and have a proven track record of influencing with excellent verbal and written communication skills working with a senior executive management team.
- Serve as chief of staff to ITE AE, supporting all associate and executive engagements and leading management routines
- Develop short and long term success measures to govern performance and effectiveness of program
- Define strategy for change management and deliver against strategies
- Drive process rigor in the program operations
- Oversee budget and financial performance to business case and annual expectations
- Lead and deliver the most critical operating processes to scale and establish operational efficiency
- Design program structures for effective oversight of projects
- Build and lead a team of high performing associates to deliver highly effective development and delivery of our workforce geostrategy
- Ensure processes are operating at the pace of the program to ensure effective and timely decisioning, impediment mitigation and stakeholder communications.
- Lead relevant risk and audit activities for the program, ensuring the program is well managed at all times
- Partnering cross-functionally with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive program operating outcomes
- Apply strong communication skills to influence program operating efficiencies and effectiveness
- Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track process performance, and influence decision making
- Perform regular analysis of results and subsequent drivers to identify and implement continuous improvement efforts
The candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of:
- Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity: Be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to the program
- Strong communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Operational excellence: Proven track record of excellent program management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
- Clear results orientation: Display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals and be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
- Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to build strong, trusted relationships and operate in an influential manner across teams to assist in driving the business agenda

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 10 years of Process, Project, or Program Management experience
- At least 5 years of People Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or MBA
- 11+ years of Process, Project, or Program Management experience
- 7+ years of People Management experience
- 3+ years of Operations experience
- 3+ years of Chief of Staff experience
- 2+ years of Change Management experience
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
