Sr. Conversion Manager, Business Cards and Payments (Remote-Eligible)

As a Commercial Card Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and building new business opportunities in an assigned territory of large-market customers working along-side our commercial bank partners. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the sales and customer management process including prospecting, sales, underwriting, implementation and post-implementation customer management. Early in your tenure you will be responsible for the oversight of customer accounts; helping them onboard and engage with our latest product enhancements. Long term you will focus on retaining existing relationships and consulting in partnership with our Commercial Bank for new business opportunities.

General Responsibilities:
- Use insight and consultative selling techniques to educate customers about their industry and offer unique perspectives on their business, which link back to Capital One's Business Cards & Payments solutions
- Design and implement sales strategies to ensure the company meets its revenue objectives
- Coach customer stakeholders and build consensus for Capital One's solutions within their organization
- Manage multiple phases of sales cycle, including initial contact, identification of client needs, presentations/product demos, negotiation, underwriting and implementation
- Develops, manages and maintains relationships with any local managers from other Capital One businesses
- Refers business appropriately to internal partners including Middle Market and Treasury Team
- Maintains broad and technical product knowledge including competitor product information
- Manage a portfolio of clients with key focus on retention, growth and risk management
- Analyze the company's total business spend to identify additional opportunities to leverage Commercial Card solutions
- Learn about the client and the specific industry vertical in which they operate; understand purchasing needs and behavior
- Resolve issues and provide solutions to clients in a timely manner
- Monitor portfolio metrics and perform quarterly account reviews
- Partner across the value chain to meet client needs
- Maintains and updates CRM system regarding sales calls, pipelines and closed sales
- Work in collaboration with value chain partners to convert existing commercial bank clients to the enhanced commercial card platform.
- Achieve strategic KPI's related to conversion metrics (Contacts, Meetings, Conversion success, etc)
- Consulting with internal value chain partners to identify strategic bank clients (upon platform upgrade completion) for re-engagement of the commercial card product suite and solutions that drive accretive value to the commercial bank.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional experience selling business-to-business
- At least 3 years of experience in a client facing role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
- 5+ years of experience selling or managing commercial card and electronic payment products with a proven track record of success
- 5+ years of experience supporting commercial bank cross-sell efforts

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Remote (Regardless of Location): $146,500 - $167,200 for Comml Card Sales Officer III
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
