Sr. Associate, Process Management (Remote)

As a Sr. Associate of Process Management within SIBC&P, you will play an integral role in driving process excellence and well managed initiatives. This role provides the opportunity to demonstrate immediate contribution while strengthening your process management best practices by helping design, manage and support the division level processes. Responsibilities will include documenting, monitoring and controlling critical process points as defined by business policies and standards. We are seeking dedicated, disciplined, process professionals who excel in a team environment. This person will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, attention to detail, problem solving, and have the ability to adapt to change quickly. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Manager to build and manage the process excellence and well managed work across Software, BC&P, UK and Canada, enabling the LOBs to maintain and audit ready status
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement them through collaboration with Business Risk Offices, and business division teams
  • Strong ability to facilitate sessions with Business SMEs that result in outcomes that enable clear understanding of the process, risks and controls associated with a given process
  • Prepare Process Owners and Process Managers across multiple processes for audit including pre audit reviews with SLTs team
  • Maintain formal process documents (e.g. procedures and diagrams), and document processes and projects (creating project reports, presentations, business cases, and diagrams etc) as needed
  • Collect, analyze and measure process data to compile reports as required for senior leadership; review data for process trends and gaps that may require additional review

  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy, which informs leadership reporting to enable prioritization decisions.
  • Create and manage process communications targeting and tailored for various audience levels, including executive levels
  • Understanding customers' needs of the process and drive process improvements
  • Acting as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with project customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Process Management or Project Management
  • At least 2 years of experience designing, building and managing internal business processes
  • At least 2 years experience working on cross-functional teams or cross-functional projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Risk Management
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
  • Business Process Management certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Remote (Regardless of Location): $74,000 - $84,400 for Sr. Process Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
