At Capital One we're changing banking for good, and at CreditWise we're on a mission to help everyone take charge of their finances and credit. Capital One CreditWise offers free access to credit score, credit reports, credit monitoring to all US consumers.
As a Senior Manager, Product Manager for CreditWise, you and your team will own and execute on our credit monitoring strategy. Specifically, you'll try to improve customer outcomes related to their credit health by building tools that help them achieve their credit goals, making it easier for them to monitor changes to their credit, and providing them insights around what impacts their credit. You will deliver critical projects like our FICO credit score transition and adjust our in-app journey to accommodate new features that help us deliver on our 2030 vision. You will look for opportunities to deepen our engagement with our users and give them reasons to come back to CreditWise.

Your tech teams operate fairly independently within the CreditWise tech organization, and as you and your team develop intent and build/deliver your roadmap, you will work closely with:
- your business analysts, engineers, and Legal/Risk/Compliance
- our design and research partners
- our partner credit reporting agencies
CreditWise has big plans to evolve and grow and we need a Senior Product Manager who is passionate about ensuring that our users are able to access the tools and information we provide.

In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in four key areas:
- Human Centered
- You'll lead sourcing and synthesis of customer discovery efforts to understand customer needs to drive the long term vision for your product
- You'll turn these customer insights into actionable strategies that will define the priorities for your team and rally your stakeholders to your vision
- Business Focused
- You'll own and prioritize the long-term (12-18 months) product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional team to ensure that all the right resources are aligned to ensure that and your team will be successful
- You'll define KPIs for your product and will be responsible for measuring and tracking to those measures, with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictates
- Technology Driven
- You'll have an end-to-end understanding of your product and how it fits into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business
- You'll work closely with tech leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the ultimately customer experience your team will deliver always looking to ensure you're using the best tool for the job
- Transformational Leadership
- You'll rally your teams and senior stakeholders to your product vision and proactively leverage relationships throughout the ecosystem to align to your vision and influence prioritization across partner teams
- You'll be responsible for attracting and retaining top talent to your team and mentoring and developing associates on their product career

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of experience in digital product management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- MBA or Master's degree
- 3+ years of experience in Agile product management
- Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $193,000 - $220,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
New York, NY: $210,500 - $240,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
