As a Senior Associate Project Manager at Capital One, you will aid how Retail Bank Marketing prioritizes critical and strategic business projects. In this impactful role you will work to support the program by which new initiatives are identified, evaluated & prioritized for Retail Bank Marketing support. This includes support of intent intakes, quarterly and annual planning, Agile and JIRA governance and various intent governance routines across a broad group of key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the end-to-end planning & prioritization of Marketing projects to be added to the annual Marketing calendar.
- Support the intake forms & process by which stakeholders request Marketing support ensuring timely decisions on requests.
- Engage and align with a broad group of stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables; manage expectations and communicating progress regularly
- Aid in quarterly and annual planning efforts by identifying milestones, prepare templates for collaborative planning, ensure teams understand assignments and keep them to task, set up & facilitate planning meetings ensuring appropriate follow up
- Continuously assess and refine processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and the overall impact of intake, prioritization, and planning program
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor program health; help prepare regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on progress
- Provide monitoring and status tracking support for cross-team initiatives
- Leverage productivity tools to influence better ways to radiate team information and identify improvement opportunities
- Able to help establish governance structure where decision-making is weighted toward empowered teams
- Understand and coach their teams to adopt development methodologies
- Serve as a knowledge and execution resource to the team for productivity tools
This Associate should bring:
- Project or program management experience collaborating across broad groups of cross-functional stakeholders
- Attention to detail and ability to keep projects or programs on track and problem solve in real-time
- Demonstration of excellent written and verbal communication across varying functional groups and levels
- Ability to spot opportunities for process improvements & implement change that impacts teams outside of current scope
- Strong facilitation skills, able to collaborate, plan, execute and follow-up on meetings at the team level
- Organized and able to self-manage details of multiple projects, deadlines and changing priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong and accurate work
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- At least 3 years of Program or Project Management experience
- At least 3 years of experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe methodologies
- At least 2 years of Relationship management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or MBA
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- 4+ years of Program or Project Management experience
- 4+ years of experience leading projects across cross-functional teams within an organization

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $94,600 - $107,900 for Sr. Project Manager
Wilmington, DE: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Project Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
