Capital One Brand Creative is looking for a skilled Experiential Design Art Director to bring our brand to life within Capital One built environments and branded IRL experiences.
This role will support the Premium Brand Creative team-specifically designing for environmental branding, experiential marketing, visual merchandising, and branded activations in spaces including our Capital One Lounges, Cafes, Arenas, and Offices (but not limited to other omni-channel marketing needs across our Premium Products & Experiences).

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design.
- Create for a range of channels. You'll design primarily for branded environments, but the scope of your work will cover a broad range of integrated touchpoints including print, digital, OOH, packaging, environmental branding, visual merchandising, retail design, experiential events and brand activations
- Own your design through the end-to-end creative process-from white space to real life
- Collaborate with a lot of smart people.
- Work with your team-copywriters, creative directors, and Brand.
- Work with your partners-a range of marketing, business, product, design, and production partners, both internally and externally
- Create branded creative that cuts through the noise.
- Drive brand consistency and recognition
- Use strategy to inform your creative decisions, and show agility adapting your approach for widely varying briefs, products, and business goals
- Bring fresh ideas that raise the bar and push mindsets
- Think across integrated channels, products and experiences
- Stay ahead of consumer trends and insights, and let them influence your work
- Get stuff done. On time. Every time.
- Manage multiple deadlines on numerous projects happening at the same time
- Complete high-quality work with an appropriate degree of autonomy
- Proactively identify opportunities and develop solutions
- Deliver error-free work, using best practices with keen attention to detail
- Listen to and incorporate feedback, and ask questions when you need clarity
- Invest your time where it matters, judging when to start from scratch vs. use what's there

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or military experience
- At least 3 years of professional design experience in relevant industries and channels
- At least 3 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
- At least 2 years of experience with a 3D or spatial design software (Adobe Substance, Sketchup, etc.)
- At least 1 year of experience working with a digital design software (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Has created a portfolio of creative work, including descriptions of your creative strategy
- Experience in one or more of the following industries or marketing areas: premium, luxury, spatial design, branded environments, and/or travel
- Experience storyboarding, sketching or wireframing CX and UI/UX

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $99,500 - $113,600 for Sr. Associate, Art Director
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
