As a Process Risk Manager, you will be responsible for working with business partners to identify and consult on potential risks to Capital One and applying your QA/process management and analytical skills to drive well-managed risk activities. We are seeking a dedicated, disciplined, process professional who excels in a team environment. This individual will have demonstrated that they have improved processes in the past with measured results. This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across the company and across multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are essential to succeeding in this role. Additionally, building win-win partnerships with multiple business stakeholders as well as across ESM, while adapting to and managing change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, are essentials for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all life cycles phases have appropriate process health definitions and measures in place
  • Manage data quality reporting
  • Facilitate escalation process for past due activities
  • Establish and facilitate holistic QA program for ESM lifecycle phases, including aggregated reporting
  • Maintain Audit Readiness through increased reporting and analytics
  • Drive risk management process improvements
  • Work with and communicate identified gaps to process owners to ensure that PSPs are accurate and reflect ESM overall alignment
  • Collaborate effectively with 1st line partners, 2nd lines of defense (Compliance, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management) and 3rd line of defense (Audit)
  • Provide subject matter expertise on risk management processes when representing the department in projects and other meetings
  • Lead other risk projects, as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years of experience with Process Management or Project Management
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a Risk Management field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience
  • 4+ years of experience in process management
  • 3+ years of experience with Business Process Management (BPM), Six Sigma or Lean process improvement techniques
  • 4+ years of experience working in Risk Management
  • 3+ years of experience in Third Party Management
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance software tools (Fuse at Capital One)
  • Experience in quality assurance and reporting activities

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Plano, TX: $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Supply Chain

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Manager, Supply Chain

Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600 for Manager, Supply Chain

New York, NY: $159,400 - $181,900 for Manager, Supply Chain

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
