How our hybrid model works
This role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend about half their time (2-3 days per week) in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Monday and Fridays are enterprise- wide virtual work days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.
Role Summary
Capital One, a Fortune Magazine "100 Best Companies to Work For," is seeking an experienced Platform Design Lead with experience designing and enabling scalable workflow solutions in Adobe Workfront. The Capital One Enterprise Consumer Product team is revolutionizing Marketing Operations to be a catalyst, enabling business teams to achieve their goals through marketing software and automation capabilities supported by well managed delivery processes. As a Platform Design Lead on the Enterprise Workfront Team, you will be responsible for leading discovery for groups onboarding or enhancing Workfront, developing scalable platform and workflow designs, leading internal and stakeholder testing, and driving successful roll-outs of new Workfront features or team onboarding. This role will also aid in influencing and partnering with product and technology teams to advance Workfront across Capital One.
Responsibilities
Design and document solutions for new and existing teams using Workfront
- Facilitate effective discovery and design sessions for teams interested in onboarding Workfront or enhancing their use of Workfront
- Identify root problem statements and document comprehensive requirements from discovery and design sessions with stakeholders
- Lead prioritization exercises with stakeholder groups to help determine how internal and tech capacity should be best utilized to drive value
- Recommend and document platform and workflow designs using digital collaboration tools
- Internally test Workfront configuration and Fusion development prior to stakeholder user acceptance testing
- Facilitate unit testing and end-to-end user acceptance testing with stakeholders
- Support rollout and change management activities associated with onboarding and enhancements
- Support strategic internal initiatives across all workstreams with a focus on documentation
Assist Tactical Execution, Support, and Reporting for Workfront
- Ongoing troubleshooting and support for Lines of Businesses utilizing Workfront
- Aids in establishing metrics, builds reports and dashboards to assist in user workflow, portfolio/program/projects, channel deliverables, project types and resource management to align to key OKRs
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- At least 3 years of experience designing marketing platform solutions
- At least 2 years of experience implementing Workfront solutions
- At least 2 years of working in marketing as a discipline
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in workfront implementations and enhancements with a financial services company
- Adobe Workfront Project Manager Certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Illinois (Hybrid On-Site): $110,700 - $126,300 for Principal Project Manager
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
