That's why our Global Workplace Services team is looking to add a Principal Associate, Workplace Site Operations in Mexico City!

As a Principal Associate at Capital One, you'll manage the day-to-day relationships with our internal customers and lines of business within your assigned geography. You'll also engage with external providers responsible for facilities, space planning, moves, food and beverage services and mail services. You'll also coordinate landlord relationships and engage with landlord facilities team members on day-to-day infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the overall site including visitor registration and check in processes, new associate badging and visiting executives
  • Partner with your internal clients to understand their intent and goals, execute plans that meet their needs and relentlessly pursue options to deliver high-performing results
  • Engage with cross-functional teams at all levels and serve as a trusted real estate expert
  • Identify, recommend/document and implement ways to drive optimal utilization of the facilities
  • Contribute to the development of the annual capital and operating-expense budgets
  • Partner with other internal real estate associates to implement solutions and proactively solve problems
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Finance, Legal, HR, IT and Security
  • Foster a positive work environment through engagement and team building activities
  • Monitor and enforce safety and security policies
  • Conduct safety inspection and work with emergency responders

The Candidate will:

  • Support with a strong attention to detail, a high sense of urgency or doesn't get overwhelmed or flustered easily
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Leverage different approaches and build on the ideas and perspectives of others
  • Have a passion for real estate and how it influences culture and the environment
  • Possess the skill to not only prioritize multiple tasks concurrently but do so with a high degree of skill and efficiency.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment that involves both working independently and collaborating with others
  • Enjoy interacting with associates at all levels and working with a creative, cross-functional team

Basic qualifications

  • Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 year of experience in Facilities Management or Relationship Management
  • 1+ years experience in Security & Safety

Preferred qualifications

  • 4+ years related experience in Facilities Management, Project Management, People Management or Supplier Management
  • At least 2 year experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite
  • 1+ years experience as a Project Manager or similar
