Platform and Well-Managed (PWM) Operations is a centralized team within Cindy Viener's Engagement and Servicing Platforms (ESP) organization. PWM directly enables Card growth and innovation through efficient, accurate and well managed platform operations and delivery.

As a Manager in Rewards and Benefits Governance at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to ensuring consistent experiences for customers who take advantage of a wide variety of Rewards and Benefit campaigns. You'll team with world-class professionals and leaders across the card businesses to develop and implement strategies that are central to delivering business outcomes that meet customers' needs and expectations. The work can include ensuring that processes are well designed and executed flawlessly, yielding improved business efficiency and driving consistent results.

About Rewards and Benefits Governance:

Capital One currently has 90+ Rewards and Benefits campaigns that are in market. These use cases are designed to both attract new cardholders and encourage loyalty from existing customers. The Governance team is responsible for establishing and maintaining well-managed practices which are consistent across all Rewards and Benefit campaigns regardless of Channel, Platform or Line of Business.

The Rewards and Benefits Governance team: (i) Manages the intake process for all new intent (ii) Establishes requirements and ensures that all campaigns are compliant with them (iii) Maintains L2 process governance and (iv) Provides regular reporting to Sr. Leadership and other key stakeholders.

General Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, managing and leading initiatives in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements and serving as a subject matter expert
  • Partnering cross-functionally to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive results
  • Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to develop strategies and/or ensure delivery of commitments
  • Delivering key internal consulting engagements using a variety of techniques and tools (like BPM, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma) to define, manage and improve processes.
  • Creating and delivering presentations to senior management. Guiding and influencing senior management discussions and decisions
  • Reviewing processes, platforms and technology end-to-end, through the eye of the business, customers and other key stakeholders, and introducing innovation into the ecosystem with impactful results

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite
  • At least 3 years of process management or project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • 1+ years of experience in Compliance or Risk Management
  • 5+ years of process management or project management experience
  • Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, or certification

How our hybrid model works

This role is hybrid meaning associates typically spend about half their time (2-3 days per week) in-person at one of our offices listed on this job posting. Monday and Fridays are enterprise- wide virtual work days. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are in-person days for associates to spend time together working in our beautifully-designed team areas.
