The Capital One Software marketing team is seeking a seasoned Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to drive business goals for Capital One Slingshot. The Product Marketing charter makes our product lines successful in the market and with customers. They are champions of our customers and define end-to-end GTM strategy for their product areas, including all messaging, positioning, launch planning and Sales enablement. They are experts in our customers and products, and use their expertise to influence the product roadmap.

In this role, You will partner closely with Sales, Customer Success and Product to develop a deep understanding of customer needs and the product to empower our sellers with the right content to create opportunities and develop prospecting campaigns to strengthen the sales pipeline. You will bring your experience to map the customer purchase journey and apply your skills to optimize customer conversions.

What you'll do

  • Become a subject matter expert on key technology areas, which could include Cloud Infrastructure, Data Engineering and Data Security
  • Develop a detailed understanding of your product's sales funnel, personas, industries, and use cases to drive sales and marketing asset development
  • Empower sellers with compelling messaging, content, and materials to increase the top-of-funnel volume with qualifying opportunities and build a healthy sales pipeline
  • Identify opportunities to develop relevant marketing and sales content, including videos, one-pagers, blogs, case studies, and manage production
  • Build insights based on product usage data, voice of customer, campaign effectiveness, and industry trends and translate those insights into actionable recommendations that promote business objectives and drive tangible results
  • Participate in the product/customer feedback loop, capturing insights and learnings to inform marketing and messaging needs
  • Influence enterprise-wide B2B product/software marketing agenda.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 4 years of experience in a product marketing role
  • At least 2 year of experience marketing SaaS products or services

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in a product marketing role
  • 3 or more years of experience marketing B2B SaaS products or services
  • Experience in highly cross-functional and matrixed teams

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $147,800 - $168,700 for Manager, Marketing

San Francisco and San Jose, California (Hybrid On-Site): $156,700 - $178,800 for Manager, Marketing

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
