The Role:

As a Manager in BC&P, you will support the BC&P Data Program Office by working with extended teams across the enterprise to manage and improve our business processes. In this role, not only will you lean into your analytical and problem solving skills by developing and deploying innovative solutions to mitigate risks to the company, but you will also grow your strategic and influencing skills as you create and implement well-managed strategies that enable BC&P to continue to be well managed while improving efficiency and control effectiveness.

In this role, you will deliver flawlessly executed processes that improve business efficiency and drive results. You will create and modify processes while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution each and every time. Responsibilities will include documenting, monitoring and controlling critical process points as defined by business policies and standards. You may also lead or engage in critical departmental or cross-functional organizational initiatives and projects.

This individual must be able to effectively communicate and influence partners across multiple functional areas including multiple levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment are essential to succeeding in this role. This individual must display strong leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate others in delivering flawless execution of process development, including standardized artifacts, and improvement projects. Knowledge of how to navigate regulatory requirements, as well as the development and management of process controls, will be critical to maintaining a well-managed process.

What You'll Do:

  • Creating and validating processes
  • Designing and producing metrics used to measure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Driving process improvements aligned with desired customer outcomes
  • Analyzing, identifying, and correcting data issues with systems used or owned by a department
  • Strong ability to facilitate sessions with Business SMEs that result in outcomes that enable clear understanding of the process, risks and controls associated with a given process
  • Can drive conversations to clarify and understand the intent of a process while ensuring a customer first focus
  • Keeping continuous improvement at the forefront of the repeatable processes with which you will engage with LOBs
  • Developing and maintaining processes that enable to the LOBs to maintain and audit ready status
  • Can heavily influence across multiple domains to drive process improvements and adoption via. presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to influence and motivate process owners (as a trusted advisor) to understand business process management and manage their process like a business owner
  • Maintain formal process documents (e.g. procedures and diagrams), and document processes and projects (creating project reports, presentations, business cases and diagrams etc.) as needed
  • Providing subject matter expertise on processes when representing the department in projects and other meetings
  • Managing and leading a high performing team of associates

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management, Human Resources or Economics, or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Process Management
  • At least 2 years of experience in Project Management
  • At least 2 years of experience in Relationship Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Management, Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Communications, Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Lean Certification or Six Sigma Certification
  • 3+ years of experience in Process Management
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management
  • 3+ years of experience in People Management
  • 3+ years of experience in Relationship Management
  • 3+ years of experience in complex problem solving
