As a Process Manager supporting Capital One's Auto Navigator product, you must display strong leadership skips as you motivate a small team to deliver flawlessly executed processes that exude quality, improve business efficiency and drive results. You'll collaborate with business partners across Product, Tech and Data to develop controls within our features to maintain compliance and customer experience standards. You will create, modify and enhance processes while collaborating with smart and passionate leaders to influence results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. You will educate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization concerning the utilization of process to ensure appropriate execution and quality.

General Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and managing initiatives in a complex dynamic environment, providing strategic direction to peers and direct reports
  • Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders of multiple levels to ensure delivery of commitments
  • Understanding our products and their applicability to compliance requirements to develop ways to effectively control for them
  • Collaborating with Product, Tech and Data to automate controls and improve processes
  • Define, establish, manage and improve controls and processes
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement them through collaboration with other groups
  • Analyzing, identifying, and collaborating to correct data issues that impacts controls
  • Managing audit, exam and assessment reviews of processes while partnering with Legal, Compliance and the Risk Office
  • Developing and driving your team's roadmap
  • Influencing leaders across the Experience and the Organization to adopt identified process improvement opportunities
  • Providing subject matter expertise on high visibility processes and project when representing the department in projects and other meetings
  • Being an inspiring leader of a small team of associates who enables them and coaches them to meet their fullest potential

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to be goal/execution-oriented
  • Demonstrate strong communications proficiency, including across teams and organizations, and have experience utilizing oral and written communication skills along with presentation skills
  • Have the ability to multitask with simultaneous projects and tasks, while demonstrating urgency, prioritization, and ownership to drive issues to completion
  • Be able to react seamlessly to change in priorities and delivery focus
  • Be self-motivated
  • Be capable of balancing strategy and tactical delivery
  • Be a solid problem solver
  • Communicate effectively with direct reports, leadership and executives
  • Use great judgment to escalate issues

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Process or Risk management
  • At least 1 year of experience in People management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of experience in Process management
  • 3+ years of experience in People management
  • 2+ years of experience in Project management
