As part of the Enterprise Curriculum & Experiences team, you will work closely with Capital One U colleagues and stakeholders to analyze, recommend, manage and deliver learning experiences for people leaders and teams at Capital One. You will play a critical role in making sure our learning experiences are delivered with user and business objectives in mind.

Who We're Looking For:

Our team is searching for an experienced facilitator with a passion for developing leaders, teams and associates through engaging learning experiences with a focus on experiential learning facilitation. This facilitator will be responsible for delivering training on a mix of topics related to leaders, competencies, team effectiveness, and other content delivered by the Enterprise Curriculum and Experiences team. This will include delivering content for new people leaders on topics such as having difficult conversations, performance and talent management, and giving and receiving feedback, as well as open enrollment classes and team effectiveness sessions for intact and cross-functional teams.

Ideally, this person would:

  • Bring exceptional facilitation and communication skills with an ability to engage groups, generate conversation, and present content in a compelling and impactful style
  • Prepare, create, and maintain positive learning environments for groups of all levels from associates to senior leaders and be able to tailor delivery to the audience
  • Be a collaborative teammate, proactively recommending improvements and enhancements to instructional designers and program managers and always bringing a growth mindset to their own craft
  • Travel domestically, ~30% of the time

We seek a dedicated and disciplined facilitator who excels in a team environment. This person will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and can adapt to change quickly. The ideal candidate is strong at influencing others, including organizational leaders and strategic partners. In this position you will contribute immediately while also having the ability to impact future program offerings.

A Typical Day Might Look Like This:

  • Facilitating multi-day leadership development programs in collaboration with other facilitators and the program team
  • Delivering open enrollment competency courses for associates at all levels
  • Providing tailored facilitation, aligned to stakeholder needs
  • Proactively sharing recommendations and collaborating with stakeholders to identify gaps and emerging needs grounded in data insights

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
  • At least 4 years of facilitation experience
  • At least 1 year experience leading a team with 1-2 or more direct reports

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development field
  • 2+ years of experience in leadership development or coaching
  • Certification in CliftonStrengths, MBTI, SDI (Core Strengths), DiSC, Table Group, Foursight or other team or personality assessments
  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Experience with acting, improv, or public speaking
