Primary responsibilities
- Work with the outsourced unit registry's overall service delivery including for applications, transactions, maintenance, AML/KYC and distributions.
- Conduct distributors onboarding, finalize contract / agreement / support operational set up with collaborating internal stakeholders.
- Conduct ITM fund onboarding, account opening at transfer agent including AML/KYC.
- Ensures that investors /distributors and internal stakeholders' queries are answered in a consistently prompt & professional manner
- Deliver reporting / sales materials to distributors in timely manner with collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Acts as a liaison for our Europe-based Tax and Fund Administration teams, to assist where required to custody, fund account and financial reporting matters
- To communicate effectively both internally and externally with our outsourced transfer agency as well as internal stakeholders and clients including on the progress of client activities and any escalation items.
- Builds a clear understanding of the function of all business areas, building and maintaining an effective network of strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Applies, designs and implements, business processes and procedures to support a risk-controlled environment within an effective governance framework. Continually identifying and implementing improvements to the control environment both within the team and working with broader stakeholders.
- Contributes to internal projects focused on improving Capital's value proposition as it relates to client operations

Experience:
- The ideal candidate has 3-5 years experience of working within the fund investor servicing or coordination team of an asset management company.
- A highly-organized, self-driven and committed team player with intellectual curiosity to learn and expand knowledge
- Demonstrates ability to apply knowledge of industry regulations and best practices to work assignments, has experience of and exhibits a Continuous Improvement mindset
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, demanding and ever changing environment while maintaining the highest standard and attention to detail
- Proven track record of excellent customer service
- Professional approach to escalation, prioritization and problem solving
- Fluent in English and Japanese, with strong verbal and written communication skills, and a track record of effective communication with colleagues, counterparties and clients
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
