As a Senior Product Designer at Capital Group, you will work closely with other passionate technologists to design mission critical, highly complex enterprise applications supporting our Investment Group, the core of our business.

We are a small and nimble team, and we will rely on you for all phases of product design work, including:

• conducting design research and synthesizing the results

• collaborating with product mangers to define the scope of your product

• designing user interfaces and information architecture for specific features

• collaborating with designers from other product teams to continually evolve our design systems and improve the consistency of our users' experiences.

I am the person Capital Group is looking for:

• You possess a a Bachelor's degree. Note: we welcome candidates from all fields and majors, as we value diverse educational backgrounds and experiences.

• You can demonstrate case studies illustrating 5-10 years' experience designing enterprise software

• You have a basic knowledge of the buy-side investing ecosystem

• You have a robust knowledge of current best practices in design research, design systems and UI design

• You can establish strong working relationships with product managers and engineers

• You can quickly develop domain expertise in the complicated and nuanced world of investment management

• You're creative and comfortable while working with very limited direction

• You approach projects, tasks, and unknowns with curiosity, and enjoy sharing what you know and what you learn with the people around you

• You are a systems thinker, habitually considering the impacts of your immediate design choices on the larger technology ecosystem in which your users live.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $148,045-$236,872

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
