The Senior Operations Leader; Private Client Services will oversee Private Client Services' (PCS) operations, and in partnership with the technology team, set and execute our long-term technology strategy. This role with also liaise with other Capital Group and external technology, outsourcing and custodial interdependent operational teams to ensure an effective and efficient operating model, and ultimately facilitate impeccable client service. It is essential that this individual drive continuous improvement throughout our ecosystem from a people, process, and technology perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with other leaders in our organization, and establish vision and strategy for our operational ecosystem, including people, processes, and technologies, particularly in an evolving business model with more products and services.
  • Oversee daily operations, both with direct and indirect responsibilities. Resolve issues as appropriate in partnership with our client facing teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement across our platforms, including internal and external partners. Establish SLAs and KPIs as appropriate.
  • Balance high risk operational environment while providing impeccable client service.
  • Identify and/or develop best practices and effectively drive their adoption to build scale and fuel sustainable growth.

  • You have 15+ years of operational and technology experience in wealth management, and 10+ years of leadership experience.
  • You have a deep understanding of existing and emerging technologies in wealth management.
  • You have built a reputation as a leader who understands how to inspire and motivate teams with energy, vision, and candor. You have prior experience managing other leaders of people.
  • You are solution-orientated in fluid environments, are able to help generate success in client-oriented situations given your natural service-orientation and have high learning agility and comfort with ambiguity.
  • You've had previous success with strategic and/or operation project delivery experience. You have deep curiosity and passion to understand complex operational problems and identify the root cause in order to arrive at high quality solutions.
  • You bravely challenge the status quo.
  • You have a BA or BS degree, and ideally a Master's degree (a CFP, or CPWA would be a plus).

Southern California Base Salary Range: $171,968-$292,346

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
