As a Senior Business Operations Specialist, you will work closely with the senior business manager to support the three Sales groups within NACG - the Advisor Group, Strategic Relationships Group, and Institutional Group. You will help to optimize the Sales groups' operational effectiveness and efficiency through the execution of business processes, enabling them to achieve their annual and long-term sales goals. You will collaborate with senior business leaders and key stakeholders to draft and facilitate key components of the annual business planning process. You will work closely with key business partners in Business Analysis and Insights & Analytics to draft and manage reoccurring business reporting packages and reviews, ensuring timely and insightful delivery of business reporting. You will work closely with the senior business manager to deliver other operational support, such as coordinating quarterly business reviews, business communications, business continuity planning, space planning, associate engagement activities, and more. You will also collaborate with others in Business Management, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional partners across NACG, IO, ITG, and GBS to deliver on the above.

The focus of this role will be to support the Institutional Group, and based on business need, the projects and responsibilities may also span and shift as necessary across the three Sales groups.

  • You have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • You have the proven ability to work collaboratively across senior leadership and cross functional teams towards the achievement of a common goal.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, learn quickly, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • You have experience owning and managing projects that require cross-functional partnership and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done when needed.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and have a curious mindset.
  • You have the ability to problem solve and develop clear and comprehensive recommendations on matters of strategy and execution, clearly articulating them in a convincing way.
  • You have an analytical mindset with the ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions and measure success.
  • You have experience identifying key performance indicators (KPI) and using them to measure progress of initiatives and the overall business.
  • You have experience drafting and managing business updates for different audiences and levels of management.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to write clearly, succinctly, and to synthesize large amounts of information into insightful/actionable takeaways.
  • MBA or other relevant graduate degree preferred. Experience in Financial Services/Asset Management industry preferred.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $121,652-$194,643

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
