Primary responsibilities/essential functions:
- Directs, manages, and supports safety and security programs, including:
- Office physical security programs - contract security oversight, external relationship management, office safety and security operations, and safety and security incident response.
- Creates and delivers/oversees delivery of operational training for security applications, including physical access control, video management systems, intercoms, and duress buttons.
- Internal case management, security investigations related to workplace safety, workplace violence or threats, theft and or fraud cases.
- Security project management for Capital office additions/relocations/upgrades, office safety and security enhancement, and hardware life cycle projects; managing assigned aspects of project management to ensure the projects meet Capital and Global Security standards.
- Associate travel safety and security program, supporting Capital's relationship with International SOS, proving travel safety briefings and responding to travel concerns globally.
- Event security risk assessment and when necessary on-site event support to ensure the safety and security of Capital associates, meeting attendees, and reputation.

- Provides guidance for new technologies and methodologies as business needs evolve; evaluates new or modified end-to-end systems, processes and/or products versus internal security standards to identify potential solutions to further secure Capital Group operations.
- Supports and guides the build out and maintenance of security systems, applications, and solutions to enable Capital's enterprise physical security program in partnership with Capital's Information Technology and Information Security teams; also supports and guides the maturity of Capital Group's Global Security Operations Center.
- Creates, coordinates, and implements a global safety and security intelligence program that proactively assesses risk to Capital associates and business operations and incorporates identified risks into the larger Global Risk Management risk program.
- Drives Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Collaborates and coordinates with internal colleagues and stakeholders across Office Services, Information Technology Group, Engineering, Corporate Real Estate, and various business groups to identify problems and recommends/implements solutions in a proactive and timely manner to mitigate safety and physical security risks.
- Coordinates with security vendors, engineers, consultants, and contractors across the globe to ensure adherence to contractual agreements and, if necessary, modify existing agreements.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of security
- Ability identify and interpret meaningful information by interrogating large amounts of data (i.e., data analytics experience)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including with larger groups and senior leaders and you can collaborate with project team members regionally and globally
- Ability to prioritize assigned work and complete activities in a timely manner across multiple projects.
- Experience as a physical security expert for associates and leadership
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
