Results Analysis is a global team with locations in Singapore, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Irvine and London. As an Analyst within our Results team in Singapore, you will be focused on engaging with our business partners to deliver timely and accurate results measurement and analysis for Capital Group's Lux Funds suite of mutual funds and institutional accounts. You will be responsible for calculating and analyzing portfolio results, attribution, and analytics in support of external clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders such as Sales, Client Servicing, Marketing, Publishing, Business Management and Product & Investment Services. You will also serve as a subject matter expert for one or more internal and external industry applications, as well as playing a critical role in leading enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic objectives, including driving evolution of analytical systems (Aladdin, B-One, FactSet).

Requirements:

  • You have 4-6 years of experience with Fixed Income and/or Equity, preferably with attribution and portfolio analysis.
  • You have experience with calculating, validating, and interpreting portfolio investment results, attribution analysis, benchmark analysis and transaction/holdings-based analysis.
  • You have advanced MS Excel Skills (e.g., functions, charting, and pivot tables) to draw insights and develop creative and compelling exhibits) and some experience in results-related systems (FactSet Portfolio Analysis, Bloomberg, Rimes, Morningstar Direct, BISAM B-One, Aladdin).
  • You have a good working knowledge of analyzing data via SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx and/or Power BI)
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking, strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity are essential for success.
  • You have a keen focus on developing best practices, increasing efficiency, enhancing capabilities, and mitigating risks

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
