Principal Product Manager - Investment Analytics

As a Principal Product Manager, you'll be part of a highly specialized and collaborative team in shaping and delivering proprietary investment tools and capabilities. You'll be responsible for identifying user needs, market opportunities, and technology trends and developing an inspiring product vision. You'll define the user experience in the form of features and functionality across multiple products and drive product roadmap to meet the vision. As products are launched, you'll measure product and business metrics to understand the ongoing needs, increase adoption, and drive business value. You will be the voice of the user and work with other teams to identify roadblocks, solutions, and escalate to senior leadership when necessary. You'll collaborate with portfolio managers, engineers, designers, researchers, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and features to drive better decisions within Capital Group's investment process.

  • You're passionate about creating innovative and impactful products that make a difference.
  • You can translate user insights and business objectives into a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with our investment capabilities and goals.
  • You have experience leading the end-to-end development and implementation process of products and capabilities. This includes understanding the business needs and requirements, defining the vision, owning the documentation and communication to drive product release, user testing, and facilitating the business planning.
  • You have a keen eye for details and immaculate organizational and prioritization skills.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas to senior leaders and diverse audiences.
  • You have experience in owning and executing the go-to market plan, monitoring, reporting on customer effect and defining key metrics.
  • You enjoy leading project teams, building strong connections to drive efficiencies.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related fields. Master's degree highly preferred.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, management, and execution, preferably in the financial services or asset management industry.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $193,464-$328,889

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
