Manages payroll operations for the UK, Europe, and Asia regions. Oversees multiple teams of associates and ensures compliance with all local payroll related regulations. Manages vendor relationships, payroll systems, and liaises with HR, benefits, US Payroll and other internal departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Manages Payroll Operations:
- Ensures that payrolls for the UK, Europe, and Asia are processed accurately and timely. This includes special payrolls such as bonuses, year-end payrolls, and beginning-of-year payrolls.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge in areas of payroll taxation including international assignments and cross-border relocations and effectively leverages external resources to determine appropriate tax treatment for complex scenarios
- Ensures accurate calculation and filing of payroll taxes, including cross-jurisdiction application and adjustments for international assignments and transfers.
- Coordinates with HR and Benefits to ensure accurate calculation and application of pension and other benefits, ensuring appropriate deductions and tax application wherever required.
- Plans for and manages payroll system implementations and upgrades, ensuring that the Payroll department's requirements are communicated to Human Resources, Information Technology, and other key stakeholders.
- Evaluates upstream and downstream impacts of proposed implementations and upgrades to determine feasibility and modify project plans, scope, and resources accordingly.
- Ensures appropriate staffing levels and develops repeatable, globally consistent processes wherever possible
- Plans for and manages the payroll related impacts of company growth including increased company headcount and expansion into now locations
- Effectively manages all payroll related internal and external payroll reporting and compliance requirements including tax filings, statistical reporting, and year-end reporting, among others.

Manages Payroll Vendor Relationships:
- Conducts ongoing vendor performance analysis.
- Proposes contract renewal and pricing recommendations.
- Seeks to harmonize and reduce vendor relationships and expand footprint of primary payroll vendors to streamline and enhance payroll processes.
Ensures Payroll System Controls and Compliance:
- Ensures appropriate and consistent internal control and review processes and are in place for all relevant payroll related activities.
- Monitors system security controls and establishes appropriate segregation of duties and control processes for internal and external compliance.
- Evaluates business continuity plans and available resources to safeguard against disruptions to payroll operations.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience in payroll and benefits for multiple countries, particularly in Europe and Asia.
- Strong knowledge of country-specific wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and payroll practices.
- Proven ability to manage payroll vendors and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to design data visualizations and provide actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to lead projects and guide less-experienced team members.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and experience with system implementations and upgrades.
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
