The Global Technology Business Management Director is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing and facilitating key business management processes. This position collaborates closely with Information Technology Group (ITG) leadership, and Capital Group and Global Finance leaders to deliver a unified perspective on business and strategic objectives for ITG. The Director ensures consistency in business management practices, drives efficiency in demand and capacity planning, optimizes partner sourcing, and enhances the execution of ITG and CG priorities. This role is instrumental in aligning financial strategies with long-term growth objectives while fostering innovation, operational excellence and transformative leadership

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership and Planning: Lead the development and execution of the ITG strategic plan, ensuring alignment with CG's Long-Term Strategic Plan (LTSP). Drive technology executive priorities and sponsor initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability and innovation.
  • Governance and Operational Excellence: Optimize technology operations through process improvements, automation, and quality assurance. Partner with ITG leadership to establish robust governance frameworks that comply with international regulatory standards.
  • Financial Stewardship: Collaborate with Global Finance to manage budgets, forecast resource needs, optimize costs, and ensure financial strategies align with broader business goals.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify risks in technology operations and initiatives, implementing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard organizational objectives.
  • Partnerships & External Relations: Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors, research institutions, and other key stakeholders to enhance ITG capabilities.
  • Transformational Leadership: Facilitate the Global Technology Business Management Group, influencing strategic and operational decisions with data-driven insights. Provide direction and oversight to Senior Business Managers, fostering a culture of inclusion, trust and professional development.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion "Operating Smartly" initiatives, driving continuous enhancements in processes and operational efficiencies.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee vendor and service provider relationships, partnering with Global Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure cost-effective outcomes.
  • Global Collaboration: Work with senior leaders across CG business units to align ITG capabilities with current and future organizational needs, incorporating external market trends and insights into the operating model.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change efforts, resolve complex business issues and advise and influence senior leaders on strategic direction and operational excellence.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned based on evolving business needs.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $254,648-$432,902

New York Base Salary Range: $269,961-$458,934

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
