The Global Fee Consulting team is a global team responsible for supporting the growth of our business, through the effective management and implementation of fee policy across the full range of investment products offered by the Capital Group.
As a Fee Consulting Senior Analyst, you will develop fee policy recommendations and support business cases for related fee decisions, while maintaining the existing fee guidelines. Serves as the subject matter expert on global investment management fees: Educates clients and prospects, business management, sales and operational teams on fees, expenses and share classes. Conducts regular, extensive benchmarking to monitor the competitiveness of CG investment management fee and expense levels.

- You have bachelor's degree with a preference given to candidates with related field of study Finance or Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, etc.
- You have 3-7 years of demonstrated analytical work experience ideally within the financial services industry, a consulting firm or large accounting firm.
- You have knowledge of investment management fees and pricing. This includes knowledge of vehicle structures, third party costs, competitive landscape, reporting and the regulatory environment.
- You have advanced Excel experience (financial modeling / pivot tables / formulas) and Power BI experience.
- You seek efficiency and consistency by automating and standardizing analysis and related presentation materials where possible.
- You demonstrate intellectual curiosity and analytical skills in complex areas.
- You demonstrate the ability to analyze complex data and information, create summary materials to share findings, and present conclusions and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- You demonstrate the ability to identify, assess, respond to and escalate risks or potential risks encountered through day-to-day activities.
- You have a rigorous approach and meticulous attention to deliverables' detail.
- You have strong planning and time management skills, yet flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- You demonstrate the ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- You are collaborative and successfully build partnerships, working together with orders to meet shared objectives.
- You communicate effectively, developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
