As a Benefits Business Partner, you will be a key member of the Global Shared Services team supporting North America. In this role, you will partner with the global HR team, our specialist teams, and business leaders to drive the people component of Capital's business strategy, particularly focusing on Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)/Leave of Absence (LOA) administration, resolving questions/issues across several Benefits and HR domains. You will participate in and/or lead projects aimed at expanding centralization or continuous process improvement, leverage technology to improve the associate experience, and discover actionable insights and recommend solutions.

  • You have demonstrated advanced consulting skills by resolving complex issues and applying knowledge of benefits plans and summary plan descriptions to everyday situations
  • You can independently oversee a case load of complex ADA/LOA cases: identifying and prioritizing ADA/LOA situations requiring action and manage those cases from start-to-finish
  • You enjoy analyzing and making recommendations, and have a track record of leading impactful and successful projects and process improvement efforts that create measurable value
  • You have strong communication skills and can build rapport quickly with a variety of stakeholders, and use these skills amongst other things to proactively educates leaders regarding ADA/LOA laws and benefit program changes
  • You have a broad HR knowledge base and can be the point of contact for ADA/LOA, general benefit, and other HR questions
  • You can interpret various HR policies and procedures, offering customized guidance to associates and managers tailored to specific circumstances
  • You enjoy working with data and know how to conduct trend analysis with large sets of information. You thrive on interpreting data, identifying key points, and translating information into actionable insights and ideas for practicable solutions.
  • You succeed in fast-paced environments where independent thinking and collaborative teamwork are equally essential for success.
  • You have strong organizational skills, and can flex between project work, ongoing responsibilities, and in-the-moment priorities.
  • You connect the dots in complex and often ambiguous situations, deriving insights that are critical to advancing organizational goals.
  • You have a bachelor's degree; master's degree or HR certifications and a minimum of 5 years HR experience preferred.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $92,423-$147,877

San Antonio Base Salary Range: $75,980-$121,568

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
