As part of our 2025 10-week internship program, Capital Group warmly invite for university undergraduates to apply for an internship opportunity within Investment Operations! This will be a 10-week internship between 12 May to 18 July 2025.
Capital Group's Investment Operations Group focuses on delivering several key capabilities to Capital's investment and distribution groups, supporting the investment process and distribution efforts.
Global Investment Control
Global Investment Control (GIC) is the investment compliance department of Capital Group, and this function in the asset management industry focuses on ensuring that portfolio managers' investment decisions adhere to the guidelines, restrictions and limits set by clients, country regulators and our own firm's risk and investment policies. Because of the dynamic nature of supporting the investment group, the department works together globally, with primary teams based in Singapore, London and Los Angeles providing Pre-Trade investment compliance coverage and advice for portfolio managers throughout all major exchange trading hours. Post-Trade compliance monitoring is also a key aspect of investment compliance, with each of the primary locations monitoring daily compliance and providing timely support for Asia-Pacific, EMEA and the Americas regions of clients respectively. The intern will primarily be working in these 2 teams in GIC, with some exposure to the GIC compliance guideline coding and compliance ownership teams as well.
