Job description:

This role is part of a Quality Engineering and Testing practice to work on Automation Testing

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and Gather requirements
  • Create Test cases / scenarios
  • Develop Test scripts
  • Execute Test cases / scripts in various environments (QA, STG, etc.)
  • Bug reporting and Defect triage
  • Integrating scripts with CI/CD pipeline
  • Documentation

Required Skills:

  • 7 + Years in Developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated) for system integration testing.
  • Collaborate with system architects, System analysts and developers to understand system requirements and design effective test scenarios.
  • Conduct testing activities across multiple systems and platforms to ensure seamless integration and compatibility.
  • Identify and document defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Monitor and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle to ensure timely resolution and closure.
  • Participate in peer reviews of test cases and provide feedback to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain and enhance test scripts and test data for reusability and efficiency.
  • Generate and communicate test results, metrics, and reports to project stakeholders.
  • Proven experience as a System Integration Tester or similar role in software testing.
  • Strong understanding of system integration concepts, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems and identify root causes of issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Manual / Functional Testing
