Job Description

You will be working at one of our Capgemini offices and/or client sites working within our Financial Services clients including banks, capital markets firms, insurance carriers, and wealth managers. This role focuses on developing, testing, and maintaining client business applications. You will participate in an initial training program that enhances your relevant programming, delivery, and consultative skills, providing you the tools to be successful in your role.

After your training, you'll be working on exciting client projects that have the potential to transform the way they conduct their business. Responsibilities

  • Assess our client's business problems and how our services can solve the issues they face
  • Depending on your client project here are some of the role(s) that you may fill:
    • Testing Analyst: Testing software and using quality assurance methods to ensure the solution is properly meeting the client's requirement
    • Developer/Programmer: Writing and reviewing code, programming, and software development, fixing bugs, testing and quality assurance, interpreting architecture and create, etc.
    • Scrum Masters: Implementing agile methodology to allow teams to collaborate and work together to build an effective solution for your client
    • Data Analyst: Assessing data provided by the client, creating insights, and providing recommendations that are based on data-driven decision making
  • Work with functional, industry and technical specialists on system implementations and integrations in complex environments
  • Work directly with our clients and our internal, global project teams
  • Interpret client business requirements to create and deliver complex solutions
  • Contribute to the functional and technical create, development and testing of world-class solutions

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field)
  • Knowledge of programming languages: Java,.Net, C++, Python, SQL, and Cloud APIs Including: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Understanding of Web Development Technologies (Including HTML, CSS, jQuery, JSON, JavaScript)
  • Exposure to Object Oriented Programming concepts
  • Proactive and tenacious problem-solver, who will take charge of their own tasks and growth, possessing a "self-starter" attitude
  • Detailed oriented with effective organizational skills
  • An effective, confident, verbal, and written communicator, who can liaise with all levels of seniority
  • Strong social skills that allow for the effective communication in customer facing roles
