Key Responsibilities

  • Market and Demand Assessment: Analyze industry trends, customer behavior, and market needs across our product lines (Life, Health, Disability, Long-Term Care Insurance, Annuities, Employee Benefits, and Supplemental Insurance). Identify high-impact opportunities for AI initiatives that align with our strategic goals and market demands.
  • Initiative Prioritization and Business Alignment: Work with stakeholders to define and prioritize AI projects based on potential business impact, scalability, and alignment with company objectives. Develop a roadmap for AI initiatives, focusing on maximizing value while balancing resource constraints and dependencies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with product, actuarial, and operations teams to identify and understand business needs, ensuring AI solutions deliver on targeted outcomes. Communicate the strategic vision, goals, and progress of AI initiatives to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Value Realization and Performance Tracking: Define KPIs and value realization metrics for each AI initiative to ensure measurable outcomes. Monitor, evaluate, and report on the performance of AI projects, providing insights on areas for improvement and lessons learned.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging AI technologies, and competitive benchmarks. Recommend adjustments to AI strategies to address evolving business needs, market trends, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, AI, Machine Learning , or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ yrs of experience in demand planning, strategic management or AI project management, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in defining and tracking performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and prioritizing a portfolio of projects based on business value.
  • Knowledge of the life and health insurance product landscape and a strong understanding of market dynamics.
