Job Description:
Capgemini Engineering is seeking an expert BDE/Sr. Sales Developer to join our team and support our strategic partnership with Communication Service Providers (CSPs) supporting accounts like T-Mobile while helping drive growth. The successful candidate will drive sales efforts, develop business strategies, and foster strong client relationships to ensure the growth and success of CSP industry initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to promote Capgemini Engineering services to CSP's.
- Promote thought leadership among CSP business units to demonstrate relevance of Capgemini Engineering R&D services.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key collaborators at CSP, understanding their needs and ensuring customer happiness.
- Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to key decision-makers.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and important metrics, driving revenue growth for Capgemini Engineering!
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, technical, and delivery teams, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue.
- Build long-term relationships with clients, acting as an advisor vs. salesperson.
- Master's the portfolio and builds and pitches an effective storytelling, capitalizing on previous projects and experiences to present solutions to the customer according to its agenda and maturity.
- Defines and implements a clear sales strategy, including the ecosystem, for the assigned territory, balancing the add-on sales and new logos, and in alignment with Capgemini strategy and priorities (e.g., innovation).

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of Business development & sales experience with a strong engineering background, preferably within the telecommunications industry or with a major telecom operator.
- Individual who has worked for a CSP (Example: T-Mobile) would be considered as a plus.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of mobile network operators.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Master's negotiations and consulting skills to align clients and sponsors in the closing of a deal.
- Is insightful and forward-looking: understands the client within the context of the industry, the competition, the domain, and its challenges & agenda to support the overall strategy.
- Applies a value pricing demeanor (rather than a cost and CM logic) skills to close significant deals at the best possible price, not defaulting to discounting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in business administration (MBA).
- Experience working with or within CSP.
- Knowledge and expertise on emerging technologies in the telecommunications sector such as AI/ML, OSS/BSS, Private Networks, GenAI, Fixed Wireless Access, Enterprise Telco requirements, AR/VR, Open RAN etc.
- Great communication skills to entice and engage the customer to generate business leads & collaboration.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
