Job Location: Remote, USA
We are looking for Software Engineer who can design and develop the database software for the Linux / Open-Source platform. Has specific technical project or product responsibility!
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement data storage, reports, and exports for large geo-coded and time series datasets with revision tracking support.
- Collaborate with existing databases and tables in AWS Data Lake
- Create intranet web interface frontend for the parsers and performance report presentation.
- Detailing and demonstrating solutions by developing wireframes, production documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and models.
- Create small customized parsing applications as needed.
- Design software tools and subsystems to support software development, test, and reuse, and manages their implementation.
- Performing geospatial analyses and creating geospatial visualizations to respond to business requests.

Required Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience!
- Minimum 5+ years of software development experience or an equivalent combination of IFE (In flight Entertainment) systems/engineering experience combined with 3 plus years of software development experience.
- Proficient with PostgreSQL client applications and utilities.
- Experience writing SQL and MySQL queries.
- Experience with open-source and product based geographic mapping tools (Google Earth, MapServer, ArcGIS) and analytics engines, data charts and plots (Google Charts, Elastic, plotly...) supporting 2D and 3D visualization
- Proficient with writing application software, preferable, C, C++ or Python.
