Job Description

Capgemini is seeking experienced java developer with Design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency, contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, manage Java and Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate hands-on Software Development experience.
  • Demonstrate working experience in Java development.
  • Extensive experience with Java SE, Java EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful web services.
  • Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Develop, test, implement and maintain application software.
  • Recommend changes to improve established Java application processes.
  • Develop technical designs for application development.
  • Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  • Assist continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Comprehension of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
