Job Description

Job Title: Senior Jira Administrator
Job Location: Riverwoods, IL
Job Type: Full time with benefits

Roles and Resposibilities

  • Responsible for front-end configurations, implementing customization, evaluating, implementing and managing plug-ins, integrations, and for being a go-to source for all Jira related questions and tasks
  • SME working with Agile Coaches across the organization to align Jira to our AWOW practices
  • Create training material and standard operating procedure documentation
  • Provide guidance and direction to less experienced Jira Admins
  • Identify, test and recommend new plugins to meet project requirements
  • Install, manage and administer Jira add-ons, plugins, and extensions
  • Troubleshoot application issues and add-on integration issues in Jira working with Atlassian support
  • Gather requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize/improve Jira setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests
  • Support users by giving guidance to develop advanced filters and queries in Jira for dashboard and report creation
  • Automate manual processes, data migration routines and extract data for reporting and analytics purposes
  • Provide assistance in the management and support of integrations between tools in development landscape, including : Jira, GIT, Miro, Servicenow, Okta
  • Create and manage security schemes, custom fields and configurations
  • Provide User Management and support for users, manage system access across groups to ensure compliance, and maintain best practices
